A/SA-106 Grades B & C are utilized for services ranging from structural supports to steam drum headers with temperature ranges up to 800°F, while API 5L X Grades 42 thru 70 are utilized for the water and petroleum industry to transport liquids or as platforms on off-shore rigs.

ERW pipes are manufactured starting from steel coils, that are at first uncoiled, cut, processed, welded, and tested The most common welding technique used for oil and gas pipes is the so-called “high-frequency induction technology” (ERW-HFI), consisting in the application of an induction current on the outer surface of the pipe able to generate a robust seam weld and join the two sides of the steel coil very tightly.

The two main types of LSAW pipes are the longitudinal (with a single or double straight seam weld, DSAW) and the spiral type (called, HSAW, SSAW or SAWL pipe). Therefore, the difference between DSAW vs. LSAW is that DSAW pipes have a seam weld in the inside and outside of the pipe, whereas LSAW pipes have a single seam weld on the outer surface.

Alloy steel pipes are used in the energy industry for high temperature and very low-temperature service (cryogenic), or for applications with very high pressures. ASTM A335 alloy steel pipes fit ASTM A234 WPx series buttweld fittings (WP5, WP9, WP91) and A182 Fx forged fittings and flanges (A182 F5, F9, F11, F22, F91). All these materials have similar chemical and mechanical properties and can be joined or welded.

Because pipes and tubes come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, it can be difficult to distinguish between them. For this reason, we generally classify pipes based on their functions.Welded Stainless Steel Pipe is made to specification ASTM A312 and A358. A312 is the most common spec for stainless steel pipe. Welded stainless pipe is made from 1/8" to 24" NPS.Seamless Stainless Steel Pipe is made to specification ASTM A312 and A376. A312 is also the most common spec for seamless stainless steel pipe. Seamless stainless pipe is made from size 1/8 to 14" nominal

CS Pipe fittings and Flanges are widely used for application which do not require materials with higher resistance to corrosion such as stainless steel and nickel alloys . Carbon steel products corrode and get rustued easily if exposed to water.

"The copper tube to the exacting requirements of BS EN1057. The tube is rigorously tested, at regular intervals, by the British Standards Institution to ensure  Seamless copper tube to the specification EN 1057 and supplied in soft, half-hard and hard condition, offering a choice of mechanical properties to meet customer requirements.  A softer tube offers improved malleability but lower ultimate strength.
